typical saturday
well, can i continue from yesterday’s mammoth blog entry? i guess so…
what’s happened today? got up early for a saturday (about 8), and went to galeria krakowska – one of the hideous shopping centres that are beginning to cover krakow like the plague – basia had accidentally taken her work mobile home with her, so we had to drop it back at her pharmacy on the way.
i bought some new trousers (cheap cords), basia got presents to give to her goddaughter ania. i hate shopping for clothes more than anything else on earth, so was relieved after an hour when the process was over.
we came home, i did some work on a website i’m building – using some css design tips passed on from tim c3, which was pretty handy. we cleaned the flat a bit, and then ate yesterday’s pomidowka, before basia went off to ania’s birthday. it turns out i was supposed to go, cause of a major row, but had arranged for mike to come over and make music – i thought it was better to do it when basia not around…
anyhow, there followed a fairly productive session on ableton:
what did i produce?
by the way, the bass line in the chorus of this is the one i dreamt yesterday.
but now i’m waiting for basia to get home and shout at me. sometimes i really have no idea how to handle relationships.
